Because of the interdisciplinary design of the Boston Pain Care Center, our functional rehabilitation staff is in direct daily contact with the physicians that have designed your functional rehabilitation plan. This allows the whole team to monitor your progress at routine intervals and make changes to your plan at any point. This constant coordination is something that is difficult to achieve at most medical centers but we think it is critically important to helping you reach your goals for a better quality of life.
We offer some of the most innovative rehabilitation equipment available anywhere. Our Monitored Rehab System is breaking new ground in the treatment of chronic pain conditions. This is the same system used by some professional sports organizations in New England. The computerized Monitored Rehab System is a valuable tool because it allows us to establish your baseline performance and continually demonstrate your progress throughout the rehabilitation process. When you come for an appointment, we know exactly what you accomplished at your last visit and can work with you to set your next goal. This system also allows us to initiate exercise in patients who normally could not tolerate exercise as part of their treatment plan. Patients also enjoy the gaming aspect of the computer programs and really have fun!
