Graston Technique

Graston Technique@ is a method of diagnosing and treating soft tissue problems using Graston Technique Instruments. The GT instruments are stainless steel and are designed as an alternative to manual transverse friction massage. The instruments provide diagnostic tactile feedback to both the clinician and the patient as the instruments act as a focused extension of the clinician’s hands.

The soft tissue pathology most often treated with Graston Technique include:

Carpal tunnel syndrome Cervical pain De Quervain’s syndrome Epicondylitis Fribromyalgia IT band syndrome Joint Sprain

Patients usually receive one or two treatments per week during a 4-5 week period. Most patients have a positive response by the 3rd or 4th treatment.
